YiPPE (Youth in Partnership with Parents for Empowerment)

YIPPE is FREE to families! 

An opportunity for youth with disabilities, ages 14 to 21, and their parents to learn about the transition process in a unique way while building real life skills in the areas of employment, education, living, and health!

Times

YiPPE starts at 5:30 pm on Friday and ends at 3:30 pm 

on Saturday.

Other Details

Families MUST attend all sessions. 

​

Registration, food, overnight stay and resources are free to families.

  • make their own decisions 

  • get involved in their school/community

  • speak up for themselves

  • prepare for college/work

  • meet other youth 

  • plan for life after high school

  • learn about valuable resources and adult services

  • become part of a network of parents who have youth with disabilities

  • explore ways to share this information with other families
